The Equality and Human Rights commission has updated the Equality Act code of practice for services, public functions and associations. The revised code clarification definitions of protected characteristics including gender reassignment, sex and sexual orientation. This will alter the presentation of future reports, however, for the 2025-26 we have replicated the data tables we have used previously to aid year on year comparisons.
